  • Important: The CB1 is only compatible with the PC. It does not work with Xbox, PS4/PS5 or other consoles.

Customizable control

The CB1 includes 19 buttons, switches and knobs in 9 variants, with up to 30 programmable inputs. These buttons and switches can be customized for various functions in simulation games, such as engine control, lighting and other vehicle or machine controls.

Customizable RGB Lighting

Most buttons of the PXN CB1 Button Box are equipped with RGB lighting rings, which can be adjusted for colour and brightness with the key combination "HANDLE" + "ABS"/"TC". A switch on the back allows you to quickly turn the lights on and off. These customizable lighting effects are easy to adjust to personalise and visually highlight your setup.

Flexible mounting options.

The CB1 button box offers flexible mounting options with 9 mounting openings on the back. It can be securely attached to a desk or steering wheel stand with the included metal brackets (maximum thickness 70 mm). Alternatively, it can be mounted to a monitor stand via pre-drilled VESA holes (100mm x 100mm) for a stable and adaptable installation.

Installation instructions for beginners.

1. Unboxing the CB1 button box: carefully unpack the device and check whether all components (buttons, brackets, cable) are included.
2. Attachment of the CB1: choose the preferred mounting type:
   • Attach the included brackets to your desk or stand.
   • Alternatively, you can attach the CB1 to a monitor stand via the pre-drilled VESA holes (100mm x 100mm).
3. Connection to the PC:
   • Plug the USB cable into the CB1 and connect the other end to a USB port on your PC. The CB1 is immediately recognized as a game controller and requires no drivers.
4. Integration with V9 GEN2 (optional):
   • If you have a PXN V9 GEN2 steering wheel, connect the CB1 to the steering wheel via the included C2C cable. This allows additional adjustments via the PXN Wheel app. Remember that the CB1 in this configuration only works in D-INPUT mode on the PC.
5. Driver installation (not required): Since the CB1 is plug and play, no additional drivers are required.

How to bind buttons in your game

1. Open the game settings: start your game and go to the button assignment or control settings.
2. Select the function you want to assign: Select the desired function you want to assign to a button on the CB1.
3. Press the corresponding button on the CB1: When you have selected a function, press the corresponding button on the CB1 to assign it to the function.
4. Test the assignment: Test the in-game key assignment to ensure everything works as desired.

Precautions:

• PC Compatible Only: The CB1 is only compatible with PC in D-INPUT mode. It does not work with Xbox, PlayStation or other consoles.
• Secure attachment: make sure the clips are firmly in place so that the device does not fall off while playing.
• Gentle handling: avoid pressing the buttons and switches with excessive force to avoid damage.
• Keep Dry: Keep the CB1 away from moisture, liquids and high temperatures to ensure performance and durability.
• Cable management: make sure that the USB cable is securely connected and has no voltage or twisting that could damage the connection.
• Key labels: Please note that the CB1 comes with solid, printed labels before purchasing. If desired, you can buy custom labels or print yourself to replace the existing ones.
